Connection

Hello, friends. What a tumultuous, unsettling time we are all experiencing. I hope you and your loved ones are healthy - I'm sending virtual hugs to each of you.

The purpose of my blog has always been about connecting with you, my Live With Less peeps - a way to share what's been happening with my business, and provide tips and stories about how to live with less and create an office / kitchen / closet / bedroom / home that you can be proud of.

But lately I've been struggling to figure out what to write, even as we're facing uncertain days, weeks, and months ahead. Writing about getting organized may be perceived as uncaring, insensitive, or unsympathetic, and my intention is the exact opposite.

While many of us are sheltering in place at home, these times are when we most need our homes to be a sanctuary and refuge from the anxiety and uncertainty currently enveloping our world. Yet many people are living in a chaotic, anxiety-producing, disorganized home, which only adds to the stress they're already experiencing.

This is why I started my business more than seven years ago. I believe everyone needs and deserves a calm, serene, beautiful space where they can feel safe and secure, to forge a connection with a space that gives them shelter and protection.

In spite of the turmoil we're facing, my mission to mentor clients in ways that help them to create order and live more simply feels even more critical and essential these days. Working online as a virtual organizing mentor allows me to connect with people around the world in order to help them create their edited, organized lives, and it is a gift for which I'm incredibly grateful.

My intentions continue to be centered around being kind, compassionate, and loving toward everyone. Ultimately, we're all connected and we're all in this together.

I love you all and I thank you for your love and support. I wish you good health, strength, and peace, my friends.
