Live Light tip #2: Time for action, not procrastination

Do you tend to put off taking care of regular, everyday tasks like cleaning the kitchen? Sometimes an honest evaluation of the time and effort it actually takes can move you toward action instead of procrastination.

For example, how long does it really take to unload the dishwasher? Ten minutes, tops, right? Ten minutes seems doable, yes?

Sometimes it’s easier to just get it done and out of the way. Taking ten minutes to knock out a chore now instead of putting it off until “later” relieves you of the mental burden of “later” and provides satisfaction when you’ve finished the job. And, in this case, also helps to ensure dirty dishes won’t pile up in the sink.
