Embracing change

For the past 11+ years, I've been honored and privileged to help hundreds of clients transform their homes and lives. As an agent for change, my role has always been to support, empower, and inspire people to create positive shifts and move forward despite the inevitable discomfort that comes along with it.

My experience with change has always been a driving force behind my desire to help others embrace the unknown and reach their goals. Having sold most of my belongings and moved across the country twice and having made several moves in the past four years, I've learned over and over again that living with less means less stress, more time, and more freedom to do the things I want to do. This philosophy has been a constant throughout my life.

And now I'm excited (and a little terrified) to embark on the biggest change of my life. Rhys and I have an opportunity to make a lifelong dream come true by living in Valencia, Spain for a year ... and we're taking it!

Taking the risk to do something like this is a big reason why I choose to live with less - because living with less allows me to do so much more. I don't feel tied to my stuff. Or I try not to be. I'm keeping some memorabilia like cards and letters from loved ones (read more about it herehere and here), as well as photos and photo books (which I recently wrote about here), but I/we are being very cognizant about what we're keeping, selling and donating.

Yes, I'm sad to sell our amazing yellow velvet upholstered sofa, but it's going to a great home thanks to Julia from FBMarketplace, who's excited to replace her old, tired gray sofa and introduce a bright pop of yellow into her living room. It's hard to sell our 1960's Zenith vintage console record player, but a friend purchased it with plans to restore the player to its former glory.

Letting go is part of life. It's part of the process. It's about growing, learning, and changing.

So what does this mean moving forward? While in person organizing won't be an option, I'll still be available as a resource, so please continue to reach out at shannonlloe@gmail.com, at livewithlessllc@gmail.com, or on WhatsApp at +1-404-808-4086. I always love hearing from you. I’ll also continue providing tips and tricks to live with less because that’s what I do.

Most importantly, thank you for trusting me and supporting my business over the past decade. My heart is full.

Cheers to embracing change. We got this, my friends.
