Take a moment

Our lives are complicated. We’ve got a million things going on and our minds are being pulled in a million different directions. We’re stressed out and exhausted.

This is an ideal opportunity to take a step back, take a moment, and just breathe.

Whenever I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed, I’ll close my eyes, smile, and take a deep breath in and a big exhale. Doing so helps me in so many ways I don’t even realize, including bringing the mind to the present moment.

It’s a beautiful act of mindfulness and self-preservation.
