Embracing change

“Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced.” - James Baldwin

Hello, dear ones. How are you doing?… Okay, how are you REALLY doing?

I think it’s fair to say that our lives have changed dramatically in the past few months in ways we never could have imagined. Even though change is constant (and always has been), we are seeing and experiencing change in unprecedented ways. This can be difficult for even the most adept of us, as change can be jarring, unwelcome, and cause us to dig in our heels and contract.

On the flip side, change can also be an opportunity for growth and learning. And the more stable your footing, the easier it can be to adapt to change.

I am embracing change in many aspects of life, including its impact in and on my business. While I’m still providing one-on-one virtual organizing mentoring sessions online, I have permanently stopped providing in-person sessions.

Offering my support through these changing times is of particular importance given that our homes can serve as a source of comfort and refuge or a source of stress, overwhelm and chaos. Now, more than ever, we need our homes to be calm, functional, and beautiful.

To help my clients in new ways, I’m currently writing and developing an online class centered around the idea of living light - an encouraging, approachable, non-judgmental approach to declutter and organize every space in your house.

The class will focus on clarity of vision, support, accountability, an openness to change and transformation. It will provide an opportunity to dive in, have accountability, and work in bite-sized chunks, on your own time and in your way.

Y’all, I’m so excited about this.

I’ve got so much to do and learn, and I’m ready for the challenge as I, too, continue to embrace change in every aspect of life. I’ll keep y’all updated as this class comes to fruition.

As always, I’m incredibly grateful for your love, support and encouragement, and am sending love, support and encouragement your way.
